When "choice" becomes a "demand" for death

Biotechnicians have been freed from the vulgar moralism of the masses, so they can operate according to the vulgar utilitarianism of their own social clique

Remember when Barack Obama said that the beginning of life was "above his pay grade?" Well obviously he has found a new pay grade.

He has since decided that not only does HE know when life begins but he wants to force his view on others and violate the conscience of others.

An interesting article in the Washington Times, outlines Obama's push to force taxpayers to pay for moral issues they do not wish to pay for and to force medical care providers to perform duties that are outside their own personal moral view.

It is the incurable itch of pro-choice activists to compel everyone's complicity in their agenda. Somehow, getting "politics out of science" translates into taxpayer funding for embryo experimentation. "Choice" becomes a demand on doctors and nurses to violate their deepest beliefs or face discrimination.

How wonderful of him. Now what if the pro-life community had single handedly passed a law that said that doctors could not perform abortions?

Yet in the cruel Obama world, government can force a doctor to do something they don't want to do? What's next? Who's next?

Don't know if you caught the story on Washington Senate Bill 5629. Our own state legislature took a bill that was designed to "reduce the number of illegitimate births and abortions" and turned it into a bill to "reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies"; removing all references to abstinence education and making a decidedly pro life bill into a pro choice one.

The abortion rights activists are going to town with Obama and the Democrats in power.

Pres. Obama continues to reveal he is just another run of the mill liberal politician with no evidence of the promise he was supposed to embody of a post-partisan, transformational figure.

The action he took on embryonic stem cell research was wholly unnecessary and in fact damaging to the progress of amazing research that has moved forward under these so-called "anti-scientific" restrictions.

Look up iPS or cell reprogramming in your surf time today and see what the real cutting edge in regenerative medicine is!

Do you really think that blastocysts are equal to humans?

The classic question, I believe it originated with Mike Stark, is, if you happened to be in a lab with a container of blastocysts and a baby and a fire broke out, which would you save, the baby or the blastocysts?

If you answer "the beby", then you clearly don't impute full humanity to the blastocysts.
