Obama backing Zelaya, a drug dealer
President Obama had better send the Marines into Honduras NOW before more information comes out regarding his leftist-dictator-now-drug-dealer ally Manuel Zelaya.
BOGOTA – The regime that ousted Manuel Zelaya in Honduras claimed Tuesday that the deposed president allowed tons of cocaine to be flown into the Central American country on its way to the United States.
"Every night, three or four Venezuelan-registered planes land without the permission of appropriate authorities and bring thousands of pounds ... and packages of money that are the fruit of drug trafficking," its foreign minister, Enrique Ortez, told CNN en Espanol.
"We have proof of all of this. Neighboring governments have it. The DEA has it," he added.
U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration spokesman Rusty Payne in Washington said he could neither confirm nor deny a DEA investigation.
Question for the Democrats: Should the Obama administration continue to support Zelaya if he is a drug dealer?
Of course there could be a lot of fear on the part of the United States that if the new democratically elected government in Honduras turns over information that the DEA actually KNEW about drug shipments it could get embarrassing.
Meanwhile Zelaya should be meeting with Obama today and working out an invasion plan.

Considering the fact that the war on drugs has been a miserable and total failure, I think this point is moot.
Do people outside Hollywood still use cocaine? Oh, I almost forgot about crack.
Now we know why the Hollywood crowd are such big Chavez fans...
Who of the previous presidents is responsible for the DEA importing illegal drugs?
Could it be? Your boy Reagan???
Dimwit.
Legalize Obama!
anon 10:35,
Can you not even read for comprehension? I mean good Lord could you have missed the mark any more?
Wow... I mean you are so far off I'm not even going to try to explain it to you.
"Dimwit"--- indeed.
I hate the drug war as much as anyone, but I highly doubt that Obama (who has not indicated an opposition to the drug war) seriously contends that the right way to end it is to stand up for drug-dealing dictators.
According to the NT Times today, our embassy in Honduras is sheltering Zelaya's family. Obama sure knows how to look after U.S. interests around the world.
