Willamette Week rankings and Bat-crazy liberal/progressives

The annual rankings of Oregon legislators by the Willamette Week newspaper came out yesterday.

However, most entertaining is the fact that the batkids over at BlueOregon really have their knickers in a twist over some of the comments regarding many of the Democrats. Talk about batkid crazy.

It is really funny. They just seem surprised that any Democrat legislator may actually get something bad said about them. I guess the kids just don't realize that when you have a legislature that is now full of Democrats that you can't rate ALL of them as "excellent." I know I know reality again hitting the progressive/liberal moonbats in the face.

Here are some of the choice cuts from the WWeek issue:

• Rep. Suzanne VanOrman: this retired Head Start administrator, 69, seemed to get overshadowed in her caucus. Known for starting sentences with “as a former Head Start director,”...“My gut says if the Republicans field a credible candidate, she will be a one-termer.”
• Rep. Jefferson Smith: “Truly scattered,” says one lobbyist...“Much better campaigner than legislator,” says a lobbyist. “His motormouth was a turnoff in the legislative context.”
• Rep. Nick Kahl: An ebullient, wise-cracking Lewis Clark law student, Kahl, 32, looks like he still does some couch surfing...“He’s the short, chubby, bald version of [former Republican Rep.] Derrick Kitts: won’t shut up and thinks he’s a genius.” Now THAT was funny.
• Sen. Ginny Burdick: The thrill seems to be gone for Burdick,..Her highest-profile effort came on a bill in which she had a personal interest: Burdick helped colleague Sen. Betsy Johnson (D-Scappoose) muscle through a measure protecting the Metolius River, where both own property. “Where has she been this session?” asks one business lobbyist. “Constantly misses floor session, late to her committees, lets her staff take most meetings.”

Of course some of these Democrat legislators have their friends and staffers going bonkers trying to save face over on the BlueOregon cheerleader blog.
